13/09/2011	On today’s lessons we were introduced to new Unit called Commission. I was given a task to research what commission really means and types of commissions are in the business. I did the activity which was to write down your findings and answer a few questions which also helped me understand the phrase commission better.
20/09/2011	Today I get on with thinking and planning what I would like to do for my commission and what companies would be suitable to ask to work with them. I research various businesses in Reading Area and Henley that would be worth asking. I found few agencies in London that might need my help. However it is quite hard to get to good modelling agency, as you are required to have a lot of
27/09/2011	Those lessons I sacrificed to write the professional looking email in order to interest some of my potential clients. I send them off for three of the companies I was attracted to work with.
04/10/2011	On today’s lessons I was preparing myself for the meeting with The Tree of Light representative Mandy Bread. I thought of possible work I could do for her and what she will require from me.
06/10/2011	Today I prepared the consent forms and I made the checklist of what equipment’s do I need to take to session and what other things such as consent forms I have to produce. I research about photographing the children and what tasks I have to undertake in order to not be suit for personal right for the image. Moreover I research similar work that I was asked to commissioned, which are photographs from other children events. I looked at bad and good points about them and I absorbed the knowledge gathered.
11/10/2011	This session I was hard working, selecting and editing photos from yesterday. I tried to manipulate the photos in Photoshop to satisfy my client. I selected the images which could be used in the presentation, exhibition or in any written work such as reports or press releases. I did the assortment considering the composition on the photo, the feeling and action that are taking place in particular moment as well as all the technical aspects of photography (lighting, contrast). I also looked at the children expressions and how they behaved in the time when the picture was taken.
18/10/2011	Today I got myself more familiar with copyright issues as well as health and safety forms. I research factors that I would have to think about when creating my health and safety form.
01/11/2011	I focused on editing all the photographs I took during all three sessions. It was really hard to cut down the number of the photographs to minimum, but I chose the best once and I included the photos that Mandy liked from the first session.
08/11/2011	Today I research designs for the booklet and I started to create my own one. I used publisher as it is good software for the designs like this.
15/11/2011	Today I got the feedback from Mandy about my design; I had to do the corrections with the colours and layout. I also modified the text for my clients need to more friendly not as formal as I thought she would expect me to write.
22/11/2011	I researched about the budgets for film production. I started to prepare myself for recording next group this time I will not photograph and it will be slightly harder to prepare for it. I managed quite well I planned all the shoots and how I will do them, but unfortunately I don’t know the location so it is hard to tell if I will be able to capture it the way I planned.
29/11/2011	Today I am got my footage of the camera to the computer, I tried to cut the footage into smaller pieces to allow myself edit the film quicker as I need to finish the video by 6th of December.
30/11/2011	Today I edited the video I managed to get my film in order that I wanted it to. I also added the logos of the organisations that were involved in this project. I received the email from Mandy about the ending credits do I will try to finish the film before 6th so it is ready to be handed to my client.
06/12/2011	On this session I finished of my final video and I recorded it into Dvd as my client asked me for. I faced the problem as I wasn’t able to burn the Dvd on my school computer however I ask my teacher if I could use his laptop to do it and it went okay so then I went to Henley Festival Office and I left the Dvd for Mandy, she was on the meeting so she asked me to leave it there for her.
03/01/2012	Today I tried to arrange the meeting with Mandy so that I could receive the feedback from her about my work and the video I did. She agreed to meet me on 12th of January. Meanwhile I wrote my self-evaluation, what I did right what I could improve on when doing the future commissions.
12/01/2012	Today I went to meet Mandy and she gave me really positive responses about my work. She really liked video and she didn’t ask for any changes. Where it comes to report and photos she also like them as she already told me before what she was looking for and how I should adapted my work. So overall I am really satisfied with my outcomes.
17/01/2012	Today I wrote the main evaluation including my client’s feedback from the meeting.
24/01/2012	On this session I made sure my blogger is in order and all my work is updated to make the marking of my work go smoother and organized. Hopefully it will contribute towards my final grade.
